COPE is comprised of event and meeting planners employed by associations, corporations, nonprofit, cultural and educational institutions. New applicants and renewing members must be employed fulltime by a corporation or nonprofit, representing one company or brand, in an in-house event-related position. New applicants are required to have at least 2 years of event planning experience.
Annual membership dues are currently $250. Membership includes invitations to all events.
If you are interested in becoming a member of COPE, you must have at least two years of experience planning high-level events and/or meetings, and you must be sponsored by a COPE member. Please contact email@example.com if you do not have a sponsor.
Suppliers, vendors, and consultants are not eligible for COPE membership. A vendor is someone a member would hire in their duties as an event planner. This includes freelance and third-party event planners.
